Non Profits + Civic Groups

The work you do every day deserves a huge THANK YOU! Your groups and organizations make a concrete difference in the lives of children and families.

Connect with families already in your organization.

Many members may be parents, grandparents, caregivers. Have a picnic or a potluck and invite families to get to know each other!

Learn about CAPC and Resilient DNATL and the goals to reduce childhood trauma.

Invite a CAPC representative to a meeting or gathering in your region to talk about the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), what efforts we are doing, and help us learn more about your efforts!

Align with organizations doing similar work.

Look for ways you can help support each other. We are all working to improve the health and wellness of this community. Let’s come out of our silos and do it together!

Make sure children and youth are represented in your programs.

Not only does your work benefit youth and children, but it can involve youth and children too!

Offer feedback and suggestions about the CAPC Know Your Role Campaign and website.

Recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Post signs, take photos with blue pinwheels, or connect with us to find out how you can help promote awareness of child abuse and neglect in our community—and what we are doing to help prevent it!
